Workflow Automation

The unglamorous plumbing between your tools. The part that compounds quietly, every week, for years.

What this is for

Half the leverage we see in client businesses is not AI at all. It is the deterministic work between systems that nobody owns. Lead handoffs that miss. Onboarding emails that do not fire. Reconciliations done in spreadsheets at 11pm.

Workflow Automation is the boring, compounding service line. We map the cross-system processes, build the integrations, and instrument them so when they break, somebody knows.

What we typically automate

  • Lead and customer lifecycle. CRM ↔ helpdesk ↔ finance ↔ product analytics, with the right field on the right record at the right time.
  • Operational reconciliation. Closing the books, matching invoices, reconciling inventory across ERPs and warehouses.
  • Internal notifications and SLAs. The right person paged when a thing is overdue, with the context they need to act.
  • Document generation. Contracts, proposals, statements, populated from the system of record, signed in flow.

Where AI shows up, and where it does not

Most automation work is deterministic. We use LLMs where structure breaks down: classifying unstructured email, extracting fields from documents, summarizing long transcripts into actionable next steps. We do not use them where a SQL query is faster, cheaper, and more reliable. That is a hard rule.
